About Us

Who We Are

The We Are Hair Affair Show was established in March 2013 as a community event to represent the beauty and barbershop industry in Charlotte, NC and organized by Da Lucky Spot Barbershop owner Shaun "Lucky" Corbett. Corbett's vision was to create a hair show "for us, by us" and saw the show as great opportunity for the hair community to come together and display it's talents. The event is not a battle or competition, yet an outlet to showcase and build a name for the hair industry in Charlotte.
Each year, The We Are Hair Affair show awards a deserving cosmetology and/or tonsorial arts (barber) student a scholarship to assist with their educational endeavors. With the help of our partners, fellow business owners, corporate sponsors and vendors, The We Are Hair Affair will prove to be one of the most exclusive and anticipated events in Charlotte, NC.

In Kind Donations
In-Kind donations are accepted and will need to be received in hand by April 20, 2014 for inclusion in gift bags, etc. Arrangements will need to be made for donations to be picked up by donors. Donors will be responsible for volunteering at the event or making a small donation toward the event cause.
Vendor Tables
$75 per table includes:
  • 1 Table, 2 chairs. All payments must be received by April 20 for priority table placement.

    *All tables are subject to approval prior to event.
